"Profile" - sterling silver on paper.

This drawing is actually done with silver. It`s an old technique that has been rarely used since the creation of graphite. Many of the old masters like daVinci and Michelangelo would draw using this technique. It is a slow meticulous way of working that produces a softness similar to graphite. The only drawback is that you cannot erase mistakes, every mark is permanent.
