Hmmm!!

I admit it, I just ran out of steam! All those little ripples!! It`s taking longer than I thought it would, a well...better to step back than to make a mess of it.

A little studio shot to let you see how big/little, this drawing will be. With lots of luck this bad girl will be finished by Monday. If your curious, I only use a 2b and an hb pencil, yep that`s it! you can pretty much get all the tonal ranges, even a nice black with these two pencils. Until monday have a good weekend!

Canadian painter Philip Iverson has passed away, hats off to you sir. I never met him in person but when I was a student at Mount allison University, he was very well respected, and at the age of 41, it is truly an untimely death. Check out his legacy - http://iversonartist.com/index.html

Day 2 - slow build continues.

I read yesterday that there is a new race for ultra marathoners,50 marathons in 50 states in "50 DAYS!"

Some people have way too much energy!

Summer is almost over, my vacation is over. Time to get back to work and make some art. This will be 1 of 20 for my show in march 2007.
